Amazon Vine

Amazon Vine lets brand-registered sellers enroll new products in a review-acquisition program. Sellers commit a fixed quantity of units (currently 2 to 30) and pay an enrollment fee per unit. Vine reviewers — vetted by Amazon for review quality — receive the product free and are expected to write a review within 30 days. Vine reviews are verified-purchase and carry the Vine Voice marker. They count toward review velocity (a positive A10 signal) and toward the star-rating average. The strategic question for new launches is timing: concentrated Vine in week 1 produces a quick review-count bump but underperforms spread-out Vine over 60-90 days in our panel data, because the A10 review-velocity signal compounds on steady arrival.
