Glossary/Metric

CTR (Click-Through Rate)

CTR measures how compelling your listing's search-results snapshot is — primarily the main image, title, price, star rating, and review count. CTR is the first behavioral variable in the conversion funnel, and it gates everything downstream: low CTR means fewer sessions, which means fewer conversions, which means CVR-14 has less data to feed A10 with. In our 280 main-image split-test panel, product fill percentage was the single largest CTR mover (a 70%+ fill produced 19% more clicks than a sub-50% fill). Title CTR is a secondary lever; superlatives like 'best' and 'ultimate' contribute approximately zero to CTR in our recent measurements.
